<p>The military academies wouldn’t lower their standards to enroll top athletes. Would they?</p>

<p>So if in the article 110 of 300 Naval Prep Academy Students are athletes (37%), that means 190 (67%) are not.</p>

<p>The point is each incoming class may need academic help to prepare for the rigors of a service academy - physically, mentally, academically & athletically. The program is in place to those who need the help to get it and succeed.</p>

<p>Matriculating to and graduating from any of the service academies is very rigorous…that a support system is in place is wonderful.</p>

<p>We should be thankful there still are students who want to serve their country.</p>
