oops, did the new deal really cause the national debt? i think i put something about welfare for that question... but that may not have even been a choice (can't remember).

i also but something about freedom of the seas for the german submarine question...

and i don't remember anything about the alien and sedition acts, either... haha.

oooh well, the u.s. history curve is sooo generous anyway.

wendy, I'm so bad at recall! When I finished with my test, I thought, "I can check my answers with that girl from CC!"

Oath, FDR followed a policy of "priming the pump" (Keynesian economics). It basically meant if the gov't spent more (than it had in revenues) it would jump start the economy. The gov't did just that bad making all those new programs and stuff.

ooh yeah, but just one thing; i don't remember the choice exactly, but did it say cause or create the debt? because if it said either of those things... i don't think that's correct because the debt was carried over from the hoover administration, wasn't it?

or maybe i'm just looking wayyy too much into this, heh.

i was between gulf of mexico and missouri river (I thought mexican war and lousiana purchase), but then on the following page there was this map (american imperialism or whatev) and it was of the pacific ocean and some of the atlantic and all the dates were in the 1800s so i decided to change my answer to atlantic/pacific

My school would probably have them ready by the middle-end of the week (depending on who got me where in the pile) if I asked, but I usually wait for my report card. I think I might've gottena perfect on the MC (let's say 1 wrong), but I think I may have messed up one of my taks on the DBQ. :| Will that hurt me much or will the curve help me keep a 100?

d4r7h3v1l ..are you ****ing kidding me? I'm the LAST person to be eng/soc...I'm just saying that the NYS regents is designed so that it's near impossible to "underachieve" on if you're a daily member of this site...

Of course the new deal raised national debt. Where do you think the money for all those programs came from?

I'm not worried about passing or failing, it's just about getting in the low 90s or high 90s. I, for one, find it fun to obsess about tests after them. Wasn't that 100+ page SAT thread fun? Why else would it be so long?

ugh the question about which geographical features influenced US foreign policy was absolute BS!! It could've gone in so many ways...I put Gulf of Mexico/Missouri River coz I thought, well, the Mexican War was in the 19th century...heh. Ugh boo regents. This is what happens when you took AP USH, you overthink questions and gah.

I thought this was harder than the Global regents, which i got a 100 on =D

gsdg, so you not see the 20% increase since the Depression started? I'd say 20% is significant. When war came, the atnional debt skyrocketed ending the Depression, thus proving that "priming the pump" worked.

Hoover did not do the new deal, as you can see when FDR was elected it leveled off. The new deal did not raise national debt according to that graph.

i dont knwo if anyone posted this yet but if any of u care enough to post for days aboout a REGENTS then i guess u deserve to know there is an answer key at jmap.org.
