NYC College HELP!

Hey guys... I'm going to be a senior in high school this coming september and I want to get a few applications done early but I'm not so sure about colleges in New York. Here are my stats:

SATs: 1810 (670 math // 570 cricitcal reading // 570 writing)
ACTs: Pending (taking it in october)
SAT2s: Pending (taking it in october)
Unweighted Avg: 90 w/ a few honors and ap classes
Senior Workload: AP Statistics, AP Calculus AB, AP Macro+Micro Economics

I want to major in business administration/management. Looking at my stats, (yes I know I slacked off quite a bit in my junior year and I regret it) which schools in New York have very very very good business programs that I would be likely to get into?

Thanks a bunch!

P.S: Money is definitely an issue!

NYU has a great business school, but I doubt you'd get in, the only other schools in the city are columbia and hunter, columbia I'm almost positive you wouldnt get in with those stats, and i dont know anything about Hunter's business. Oh, and of course there are the other CUNYs, I dont know much about them either.

Do you think I'd be able to get into NYU via Early Decision? Or even Boston University or Northeastern with those stats? (w/ ED) ??

I think you might be able to get into NYU; i will be applying to NYU myself at the end of the year. I have friends that were accepted by cornell and NYU with a much "worse" status than yours. I believe that you definetly should try. I can almost say that you will definetely get in.
Any way, if you are interested--since we are from ny and are applying to the same school, you can give me your email, and/or messenger, and we could exchange ideas and experiences concerning the application process.

send me a private message

Definitely check out Baruch.

nyu is like the hottest school right now, last year they had something like 35,000 applicants for like 4,000 spots. honestly i dont think you have a chance competing with all those applications. really any "very very very good" program wont take you with your stats.
retake that sat!

unless you do have some other great academic accomplishments that sets u apart so that it would negate ur test scores to even it out, u need to work on the testing.
If u truly fall in love with NYU, then work ur *ss off and dont give up.
Since u slacked off, ur sched. for sr. yr still look average...maybe try to add another AP academic class that is well respected and at th same time, study for those exams.

I am gonna take the ACT exams and the SAT2's I dont have time to prep and re-take the sats again... and my heart isnt really set on NYU its very expensive and its a rip off. I can get the same education from Baruch
