<p>Is there anyone here from NYC lab school? Do you guys know what's the prospect of a students from that school when applying to those top 50 LAC and national universities? and how's the school environment? Is it a good school?thx in advance.</p>
<p>My daughter went there from grades 6 to 8. She left after she got into Stuyvesant. I know that Lab has a good reputation, but I don't know specifically how successful the kids are regarding getting into top colleges. I would imagine they do, though.</p>
<p>BUt 6-8 grade should be the middle school section of lab? DO you know how's its reputation for the high school section? Were there any problem that you feel lab has when your daughter went there?</p>
<p>It turns out that the kids I know who graduated from Lab high school did great on their college acceptances! I think it's because Lab requires every kid to do internships once a week. That gave them wonderful real-world experience, access to supplemental recommendations, and material for great essays!</p>
