Interested in learning how Pace auditions are booking the week of NYC Unifieds. Has anyone heard back from them after submitting their preliminary videos through ACCEPTD? If so are they holding auditions January 23-25?
Yes, my daughter has 3 Pace auditions (for 3 programs) the 24 & 25th.

Thanks! The auditions are long-- a half day for each of the programs (BFA, BA) on Pace campus.
Yes, we had a REALLY long day at Pace. But the auditions were fun. My son really enjoyed them.
More questions about Unifieds, specifically Pearl Studios itself. Other than Juilliard, all her auditions are at Pearl Studios. I figure I’ll make sure D gets there safely and wait in the wings somewhere once she has her bearings. Is there a parental holding tank of sorts there or a coffee shop nearby?
The Tick Tock diner at the New Yorker is right across the street or down the block depending on which building the audition is in.
Is there a list anywhere of the schools who will be at the unifieds in NYC - specifically for Musical Theater. We are thinking of doing some walk-ins and was wondering who will be there? Thanks.

Not all the schools that attend Unifieds are listed on that website. You need to go to the website of each school that you are interested in and check to see if they will be attending.
Would love to meet up with other parents while at NYC auditons for coffee at the tick tock diner or perhaps an afternoon cocktail. My S will be auditioning at Pace all day on Sunday so there will be plenty of free time for me!
Pearl does not have a lot of room. It’s crowded in there. Most NY studios are crowded actually.
If you need to work while your child is auditioning, one of my favorite places is the public library on 5th Ave and 42nd I think. It’s quiet, free wifi and you can get a nice spot at one of the huge tables. There are even plugs if you need power.

The library sounds like a great idea. I’m on the fence on bringing my laptop to do “work work” or just my iPad to kill time with. Not sure MY nerves will be in order to actually focus on my real job!

Was at Pace last weekend for auditions. There is a carpeted holding room for parents on the 1st floor in the Performing Arts building where the auditions are being held. Nothing fancy, just folding chairs, but you don’t have to leave if you don’t want to. (We held the bags, coat, scarf, etc.) You can just read or parents tend to chat with each other.
Do they actually chat with each other or do they send posts on CC back and forth?
