<p>Is NYIT(New York Institute of Technology) a prestigious school and is it hard to get into? How would rate it?</p>

<p>I think it’s a good school with not much recognition, but I think the only way to go is up 
I have checked out their website and it looks like a promising school, the only bad thing about it is that not many people know it. I am applying there for next Fall, I hope I get it, but it is my safety school.</p>
<p>It’s a good school but the social environment is a little hostile. If you can handle living independently, then you will thrive at NYIT. I have a friend who goes there and he loves it because it suits his impersonal, secretive nature.</p>
