<p>Do you guys recommend attending the NYLF on Medicien based on what you've heard about it or if you've gone yourself? I am a junior in high school and interested in pursuing a career in medicine.</p>

Can you guys please be more considerate and give me your perspective on the question I posed? I plan to sign up for this conference this weekend and I need some thoughts on it.</p>

<p>Do it. It’s a little pricey but they got fundraisers you can do. I did it and it was really worth it! And i made alot of friends i still keep in touch with. It was ALOT of fun. I really recommend it.</p>
<p>I went to NYLF last summer (Session II, SF) and it was very fun. I stayed at UC Berkeley, visited medical schools and hospitals, and met a bunch of amazing people. Hopefully you’ll attend it because it really did make me more interested in medicine.</p>
<p>I had a good time but at NYLF I realized that I don’t want to be a doctor after all. I learned that most medical students just study without stop for years and then come out of school carrying heavy debt, so they have to get serious about their careers right away to start paying it back. I’m not that dedicated to medicine. Glad I went to NYLF before I got even more committed to a path that wouldn’t have been right for me.</p>
