NYS regents procedure

my school voted against giving our class the physics regents.
so we just had a final.
it was tough, but probably not as bad.

Well just from personal experience, I took to Physics Regents last year, as a sophomore. I was the only one, however, taking both Physics and Chem Regents exams in the same year. I wound up getting a 93 on the Chem Regents, but I got a 100 on the Physics. My teacher was ecstatic. I was the first student he EVER had get a 100 and the only person to do it in the school during his tenure there (I think around 7 yrs or something). He was so excited after he graded it that he called my house to inform my mom, and used the analogy of watching a perfect game in baseball. Now, I have bragging rights :-)

gexxman, i felt the same way about chem today

metsfan112- impressive!

Here is the conversion chart from today's NYS Physics regents along with the others.

chem was alright.. i definately got a couple of easy ones wrong, but w.e

i got my spanish score back today -98 (very easy test)

The Physics Regents isn't likely given in August because it's mostly taken by seniors, and by then most will be entering college so re-taking it really won't do anything.

Yes the language tests are easy, I got a 98 last year on the Spanish Regents.

I really feel bad for anyone who has take the 6hr English Regents in the grueling summer. Hopefully, tomorrow's Math B Regents won't be as difficult as the Chem one, if it is I really might get close to failing.

If you don't pass this regents, IMO you don't deserve to. It's nothing personal, and that means you've been taught badly, but this regents was such basic knowledge... really basic knowledge... that if you didn't pass then you didn't know a lot of what you needed to know..

i took chem last year and i loved it....

BUT my last and only regents this year (besides english) was US History! Woohoo!

i got a 98 on chem last year biddies

100 on chem--hot stuff

physics regents today= cake
any you were unsure of that you want to discuss?

100 on Bio and Chem

smarty........

gexxman: ALL regents exams are given EVERY administration.

I didn't know anything in AP Physics and physics is my most hated subject. I did a few old regents exams and boy did it pay off. Today's exam was so easy I actually felt like I learned some physics during the year. Whew.

i thought chem was pretty easy - pretty sure of 90+

lol its insane how far off from the topic these posts went...
