Does anyone here know if there is a pdf version of it or something similar on the NYSSMA or MENC websites? I tried looking, but I couldn't find it anywhere and no one I know has a hard copy of it. I ask because I'm looking at playing Kurt Atterberg's gorgeous Horn Concerto for a competition within my college next year but I'm not sure if it's the right level for the judges to consider me.

[NYSSMA - Manual](http://www.nyssma.org/manual.cfm) Note the price.

Can you borrow your school’s to look up what you need?

Public library?

Try this one: http://openpdf.com/ebook/nyssma-manual-pdf.html, but it’s not the newest.

thank you! i must not have been looking in the right place.

They’ll have one at your local high school.

Most NY sheet music shops have it at the counter. You can also call Hickey’s in Ithaca and they’ll check for you.

Thanks so much! That’s a great idea to call Hickey’s, especially since I’m probably going to get a copy of the piece from them anyway. I would like to buy the manual for myself for reference, but I just can’t spend the extra cash right now (I’m saving up for a new mouthpiece :)).
