Has anyone heard on acceptance yet? My daughter submitted a late audition CD (we know this drastically hurts her chances) due to the fact that we just didn't know anything about it until late February. The late submission was done with the consent and guidance of the NYSSSA offices. I emailed them to let them know that I had sent the audition materials and they replied to say that they would forward to the judges ASAP for consideration. They also stated that in the event all selections had been made they would evaluate her audition and place her on a if she passed muster. This is all way more consideration than we could ever even ask I know but I can't help being antsy. Her band leader (she plays the French Horn) said her audition CD was so good that he was going to put his picture on it and sell it as a band fundraiser. (LOL, he is a cut up) </p>
<p>So I guess I am wondering if anyone has heard anything. I know she still has next year to make it count on her college apps so it won't be the end of the world if she doesn't make it but I hate being in suspense.</p>
