NYU 2008 Transfer

modern - another option for us is to attend the Spring in NYU program. It is essentially like studying abroad, but you are doing so in New York City. This will give you an opportunity to start looking into Graduate School at NYU, if you want to attend NYU for graduate school that is.

that sounds cool. do you have a link to this program?

Anyone who got in able to get their NYU email working yet?

I’m impatient :)

when did you guys submit your applications for spring 2008? I submitted mine october 17th, and have not received my letter yet.

October 27th

Anyone else?

icarus what were your stats?
and what school did you get into

modern - [NYU > Spring in NY](Spring)

cool thanks. so this is essentially a study “in-broad” program? we take classes and get credits?

It is now 9 days since I got the letter and my NetID and e-mail won’t work. Has anyone else been able to get into the system yet. I’m trying to see my financial aid…

Nobody’s gotten their NETID yet, and no one can see their financial aid package yet. I called the office today and they said that they haven’t put the transfers into the system yet and that it was going to take up to 78 hours or more. As for financial aid, they said they haven’t packaged that for transfers as of yet. Problem is, they have to receive my housing and tuition deposit in two weeks, and I need to see my financial aid package before I do :frowning:

..Ah the joys of transferring ^-^

I can’t wait to use my NYU facebook. LOL :)

Anyone want to chance me?

welcome to ny

modern - Yes. We would essentially be NYU students for a while. We would be required to graduate from our current institutions, but it gives us a nice chance to participate at NYU.

I didn’t even get a reply yet, and my application was sent in August 5th! GRRR

I applied to Steinhardt btw, did anyone apply there for Spring 08 and get a reply yet? This waiting is really killing me…

I also live in New York, so you’d figure I’d get a decision sooner…

wow, rain, i feel bad for you. I submitted mine oct 17th and havent gotten a reply. what were your stats?

Call the admissions office just in case to make sure that they’ve gotten all of your credentials, but they are still completing the transfer admissions process and it is going to be ongoing until mid-december. Those of us who got accepted don’t even have our financial aid or login yet, so you’re not alone! lol :)

i just got rejected. How do I approach them to hold my application?

I actually put my application in the day before the deadline. So I was not one who put their application in early, but I got my acceptance letter on Friday.

Anyone know how many spots were actually open for Spring?

what were your stats ti84black? im sorry you didnt get in. when you mean hold your application, do you mean to reapply for fall 2008?
