<p>They asked for my midterm grades last year, I had 4 A’s and an A- and I was still rejected.
They also asked me to reapply the following semester - waived the fee and essay requirements - and I was still still rejected.</p>
<p>omg. Plattsburghloser, you just made me really nervous. Wow. Did they tell you why they rejected you and do you mind sharing your last year stats when you applied?</p>

<p>To answer your question j3nnyyx3, I submitted my application in the middle of Jan.</p>
<p>I had a 3.9 average GPA when I applied, and it seemed NYU was making several efforts to get in contact with me. Admissions personally emailed me several times - I did not contact them, they contacted me.</p>
<p>The rejection letter I got said they had an all time high for the amount of students who applied that semester and some qualified students were rejected… however, it was a form letter and I’m not sure whether it was based on my experience.</p>

<p>I had a 4.0 when I applied to CAS and got a midterm grade report March 20th. I got my professors’ signatures and luckily maintained a 4.0. Rejected May 15th.</p>
<p>My stats are posted way back in this thread somewhere. Everything is the same except I obviously completed a semester since that time and I’m taking 14 credits this semester. No new extracurriculars, but GPA will be the same. It’s hard not to over-analyze the situation. Maybe they hated my essays.</p>

<p>I’ve read that NYU (and some other schools) will wait and ask for Spring semester grades from those who are applying for sophomore standing because they only have one semester of grades from college to work with. Anyone else know anything about this/ if so, when would one expect to hear from nyu asking for spring semester grades?</p>

<p>You can actually only pick one school to apply to. You can’t apply for both.</p>
<p>There this girl on facebook who said she got a acceptance letter already. So have they already started sending them out.</p>
<p>vedder2993. The reason Stern asked ur Spring grades is because you have only 51 credits earned and ur applying for junior standing (64).</p>
