<p>Most likely, Sync. I went over last year’s thread and no one reported being able to make an ID and then receiving a rejection letter (although there were people that got acceptance letters and still couldn’t make an ID til later). I would say it’s a good sign. What school did you apply to?</p>
<p>xferjhcn, last year’s letter said around 4200 applicants. I think collegeboard is wrong about the statistic. Means basically same amount of applicants this year as last year.</p>

<p>Hey everyone, I called the admissions office today and they told me my decision over the phone. I have been accepted. They said I will be receiving my accpetance package either today or tomorrow.</p>

<p>whoever said we should be finding out soon was right…I just got off the phone with an admissions lady who said that they will have mailed out decisions between this week and next week and we should find out ON OR BEFORE may 15th.</p>
<p>Whoa we might find out before may?! I wasn’t even going to worry about NYU admissions until after my exams. I guess the May 15th date was used just in case the process ended up being longer than the admissions office expected.</p>
<p>well the nyu forum said that they will hand the last batch on may 15, and then hand out the rest on a ROLLING BASIS after that, and also mentioned that sometimes they will wait until spring semester grades are up, etc.</p>
<p>so the majority should get it by 15th, but not all</p>
<p>I called admissions today and they said undergrad admissions letters for transfers have been mailed out.</p>
