<p>Yesterday in the mail. I called last Friday to ask whether they sent the letters out, and they had just sent mines out that Friday.</p>

<p>I live right in NYC, which means it shouldn’t take so long for me to receive the letter if they have already mailed it.</p>
<p>Yes, I was accepted into Gallatin. For whatever reason, they take forever to mail stuff out–mine took over a week to get here (DC). Have you tried the netid thing?</p>

Does NYU have a website where you can check you status?</p>
<p>A lot of kids have been asking the status of their applications on the transfer forum board, but the admins are only responding with generic answers, e.g. “Yes, we have reviewed it; our decision is on its way,” or “It is under review now.” You can take a chance and call and ask for the general status–not admissions, necessarily, but whether they have made a decision–and, depending on the person you talk to, they may offer the information (this is what happened with me–I asked about the “status of my decision” and the guy said “congrats, you’re in.”) Or, I guess you could just take the boring route and just wait.</p>
<p>I called today and asked for the status of my application. Was transferred to a lady who told me it was still pending. She seemed very nice. Depending on who you get and the status of your application, it’s probably possible to get an answer over the phone.</p>

<p>I’ve noticed they usually answer questions from 7-9 on NYU’s admission forum. So I asked if they had made a decision yet on there. If they say its still being reviewed, I guess I’ll try to call the office sometime next week. But after next week i’m going to be gone for a whole month.</p>

<p>I haven’t even gotten a decision yet. I don’t know why they would put you on a waitlist without having sent out all the decisions yet. What school did you apply to blackholezz?</p>

<p>That might explain it. I guess all the CAS decisions came out already, but the Stern decisions have not. Well hopefully you’ll get off that wait list and into NYU!</p>
