trojans14, i’ve never used the net id. i don’t know what’s that for either…

vicky whats ur stats?

Vicky-Net ID lets you get an NYU email and gives you access their network. You can see if you can get one by going to NYU’s website and type net id into the search and then try to activate it. I haven’t gotten a letter yet but its on the way so if i could have accessed my net id that would have meant i was accepted. But since I can’t that doesn’t necessarily mean i’m not accepted. If you can’t log in that means they might not have gotten around to putting new admits into the system. I’m ready for a rejection at this point though.

sorry guys, i just realized that NetID is sth different from the Univesity ID. I just activated mine and yes, i can log in. but there’s nothing about my application status on my homepage. only some news and a email account. good luck to you who haven’t received decision.:)

Thanks for answering. It doesn’t look like I’ll be accepted because I can’t get a NetID at this point…but maybe they just haven’t gotten around to adding me into the system. I guess I’ll find out whenever that letter gets here…

Does anyone know the number of waitlisted people who got in to stern last year?

ckm, you got waitlisted already?

They asked for my spring grades then said that they don’t need it anymore and waitlisted me.

They said we should get decisions by friday when i called… hopefully today we will all hear!!

Gwen: Nothing in the mail for me today. They probably meant that decisions would be made by Friday, meaning that we wouldn’t get them until much later. They confirmed that they received my spring grades on Tuesday and would “get a decision out to me in a few days”–pretty ambiguous.

Hey Easy, what are your stats and EC? it would help me out tremendously

Nothing in the mail here either. I hate snail mail. It is so 20th Century. Come on NYU, you need to catch up on technology.

I’m getting my friend to call them about my decision because hes good at squeezing information out of people. lol

The lady wouldn’t say anything. Ugh.

Love–
College GPA: 3.7
SAT: 2210
ECs: A medley of stuff (jack of all trades), but none of the activities are that unique or impressive on their own

oOOo dang do you have a lot of recommendations..ahh im nervous my SATs are about 150 pts lower than urs…thanks tho!

I called them today and that that i had spoken to someone earlier who said i should call if i dont get my decision by friday. Unfortunetly the advisors are already on vacation for memorial day, but a lady told me that all decisions were made today and that we should get them next week. since mail isnt working sunday or monday, i assume it will come on weds or thurs!!

I submitted just one recommendation.

Hey, guys.

Congra to whose who got accepted by NYU. =] Cheers!

I got rejected by them, but I received a promotion card from NYU today which includes the detail of applying Spring term. weird??

FYI a good friend of mine got accepted to Stern earlier today (Friday) 5/23

His stats: College = 3.97 GPA, always 18 credits every semester.
HS = 3.8 GPA
1250 SAT

@ jay2010 your friend didn’t have the greatest SATs but s/he got into stern! wow, what kind of college? top school? cc?
