i submitted october 15 and got nyu id octobr 17
same for me, it’s fine as long as they received it. i emailed them too to confirm
I haven’t received my Albert login either. I’ve submitted it on Tuesday.
Ugh… this is so nervewracking just waiting
I know I seriously can’t focus on anything else!!
This might be too soon to ask, but do you think if you were accepted for spring transfer, can you still take a class at your old school for winter intercession?
Hmm I’m not sure but it seems like it’s even a challenge to get the credits you’ve already completed to transfer but maybe you can call and ask
Once you put a deposit down on NYU if you’re accepted, it’s binding. I suppose a community college would be permissible, but if you enroll as an NYU student, you can’t enroll anywhere else. At least that’s my knowledge of it.
I can’t wait to hear backkkkk
So I’m the only applicant to silver…? Lol
I was talking about the winter intercession before entering NYU in the spring not any subsequent winter intercessions. But I do realize that it’s too earlier to ask. I was just curious.
@Popcorn11201 My bad, I read that wrong. In the meantime, it’s been nerve-racking waiting for decisions to be released.
Do y’all know when we will start hearing back? Especially for Gallatin?

@jonesby I honestly wouldn’t worry if I were you. You’re GPA is higher than mine, and your ECs are amazing too. You might end up getting into a higher ranked school and you might choose to go there instead of NYU.
@Popcorn11201 That is very kind of you to say, I really appreciated that. Our GPAs are very close to one another, I honestly think you have a great shot after seeing other NYU transfer threads. I’m in a similar situation as you. I have all A’s but I got a C+ in Stats–it’s so frustrating. I like to be optimistic, but sometimes, schools like NYU, are a shot in the dark. I really hope you’re accepted.
@jonesby My school doesn’t use +/-. I got a C+ in Calculus, if you go by the percentage, but because my school does not use +/-, it shows on paper as a C. and that suuuuucckkkksss. yeah, i hope you get accepted, too. then we can see each other on campus.
I did have a really, really amazing Stats teacher the following semester after taking Calc, and I got an A with him. He’s really amazing. I don’t think I would have gotten an A had I took any other person for Stats. Too bad he doesn’t teach anymore…
@Popcorn11201 One thing I hate about mathematics–as someone who isn’t particularly gifted at the subject–is that it’s usually up to the professor you get in order to do well. My Stats professor was a really cool guy, super approachable, but just taught in a very difficult way. Had I taken this other Stats professor at my school, I probably would have gotten an A. Good for you for having the courage to take Calc! I thought Stats would be easier…boy was I wrong
Grades are so arbitrary, though. So it does suck how colleges rely on them so much. But I guess that’s just the way it is.
