@Venice23 Where did you find LSP’s acceptance rate? Do you know for CAS? I applied directly to CAS with an indicated interest in LSP and don’t have a strong preference. Really nervous as I thought NYU was quite a reach for me
Does anyone know if NYU releases RA decisions early to a select group of applicants? Many other schools do, so I wanted to see if anyone knows. Thank you!
I’m really worried they won’t consider my application because my rec letter just got in today because of a system error, but I already got into University of Michigan so I’m not as worried
@lilax321 my SAT was a 1270 (below average) and my GPA was a 3.9 (UW). I took 12 AP classes and passed all of the exams and received As in all of them, and I was accepted. So, I think you’re fine with your ACT score because my SAT converts to around the same ACT as you.
@lilax321 I was also in the top 2% of my class, and my extracurriculars were much weaker than yours. However, I wrote incredible essays and aside from my high GPA and intense courseload, I am absolutely positive that the essays were what got me in or at least boosted my chance for admission. @misingthebeach @vwnyu22 ive seen the number on different forums but this youtuber i watch talked about the acceptance rates of all the colleges in one of her videos & she got it from contacting admissions officers

I think they might still be gathering info because I got an email yesterday from an admissions rep asking for my ACT report. It should be soon hopefully!

No emails this morning…I suppose the snowstorm is slowing everything down.
I just looked at the NYU admissions Twitter feed. It said their office was closed from Dec 23 through Jan 2, and would re-open Weds, Jan 3 at 9 am. So, they’ve only been “back to work” for two days and, adding to that short window, the snowstorm has probably made getting to work and staying at work more difficult. That should account for us not getting portal emails. Has anyone tried calling?
I called on Wednesday morning and they said they would send them at the end of the week. Then, the storm hit.
So, bet it won’t be until next week.

Anyone else apply to Steinhardt for MCC? I’ve heard it’s pretty competitive to get into. Also, no email for me yet either.
Did you guys hear that there were 75,000+ apps? So the overall admission rate would be 17,483/75,037= 23.3%, correct me if wrong
