How did you get the NYU email?
I just checked my portal and under financial aid summary there is nothing there. A few days ago they had a checklist with the CSS in there. Now, it just says “no financial aid information found.” Is that happening to anyone else?
@Frances007 I had the netid email on my housing portal, but it disappeared today, which happened to many people. NYU’s website has been down today so I’m assuming that that may have something to do with it. But I wouldn’t stress about the email because I honestly don’t believe that it’s an indicator of acceptance
THE HOUSING AND FA PORTALS MEAN NOTHING!!! ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I DID NOT GET EITHER OF THEM AND I GOT IN. SOMEONE WHO HAD BOTH GOT REJECTED. THERE IS NO WAY OF KNOWING ANYTHING UNTIL DECISION DAY!!!
Peace in mind since the decision has been made and no early indicator to find… :-"

Guys, I emailed NYU the other day asking whether or not they have my CSS profile, they told me this morning that they have it and my financial aid tab in Albert will be updated in the next 3 days, I don’t know what does “updated” mean, but if it means the FA change, then I think the FA change doesn’t mean anything, I will keep update what will appear on my FA tab in the next few days and see if it is the FA change we all are talking about, if it is, then I don’t think it has anything to do with acceptance or denial.
I’m here to update: I just got the FA change, so everyone relax, I think the FA change is just something random

Hi everyone! I was deferred from the ED round to the RD group! Not sure whether or not this is great, but I’m glad I still have a chance. Congratulations to all those accepted! Hopefully I will join you next year!

Is it possible to change my application term over the phone with NYU once my application is submitted? I applied regular decision, however, I want to change it to early decision two.
Accepted to CAS, received no FA change or Housing change, but I did get an NYU email (I think everyone gets one). Good luck everyone else.

I got accepted to Gallatin,surprisingly, but my FA says “Award access not available”. Does anyone else have this? I submited all my FA applications. I’m probably going to call Monday
Yes you may. Just call them and they will give you further instructions. I applied ED1 but couldn’t afford it and I changed it to regular decision, and it happened just half a month before the decision was out. So I think they are pretty flexible about this, just call and ask them!
@averageschoolboy yes. I initially applied as a regular decision applicant, and I decided to switch to ED1. What’s interesting in my case was that, I asked to switch 2 weeks past the November 1st deadline for ED1. I had already submitted my application, along with everything else on October 1st. But I still thought that there was no way that NYU would allow me to switch to ED1, 2 weeks past the deadline. Surprisingly they did, I don’t know why, but I was accepted on Friday 
@JaqueBear I hope that you will still be accepted. A switch from ED1 to Regular makes colleges think that you’ve lost interest in their school, good luck!
