Whaat? If you finished it, go ahead and press submit.

Sorry, perhaps my post was a bit misleading. I donāt need to submit my MIT application (and in fact, I canāt submit it) because I have been accepted ED to NYUAD. So part of my ED agreement is that if admitted, I will withdraw all other outstanding applications.

@Kiwikid ā ED agreement upholds for 2 facts: one that youāre accepted and second is that youāre provided with a suitable financial aid/support package⦠say in case if you were accepted but your financial aid package was not suitable for you or that you canāt provide more on your behalf, youāll still have the right to decline the admission offer (though this scenario is actually very unlikely)

Oh snap! Congrats!

How I hope to be in that position :)

Have you received a financial aid package?

As far as I heard, almost all people in NYUAD have received some sort of fin-aid package, well actually speaking its not strictly āaidā since NYUAD only offers scholarships rather than loans etc, so you donāt have to return the money after you graduate and all :)

@Kiwikid-- Congratulations! Did you attend the CW? How was it!?

@lifeistreschic ===
He said it was fun

I have just Submitted everything.
Its like a mountain fell of my shouldersā¦
actually, a great feeling, for me)

Fingers crossed, NewYorkUAD!

yeah the CW was great! and my financial package was great too! so i did feel slightly sad that i would never get to send off my MIT application that I had slaved so hard over, but Iām definitely not complaining that I get to go to my first-choice school :D

I understand that time differs from place to place, and universally speaking thereās still a day left for it, still anyways: I wish you all a very happy new year, and letās hope not just ours but everyoneās dreams and blessings come true. :D

Same to you all!

Itās ashame though, this is the first year Iām not going to be shooting fireworks QQ Just gotta wait till Aprilā¦
(Or February if Iām lucky :))

It is one hour left till New YEAR here in KZ!!!
Happy NY everybody!
Best of lucks not only with NYUAD, but the LIFE!!! be Happy!!!

I just sent in the rest of my applications including NYUAD Early Decision II!

Best of luck to everyone applying and have a wonderful New Year (:

Apart from a few fin-aid forms, Iām happily done with everything, Iāve also sent my CSS/PROFILE as well. It really is all relieving :D

@murtaza101 ===
congrazz)) it must be not as difficult to fill all these forms as in previous year for u. =)
Iāve just entered that profileonline for the first time, and it seems to be far more complicated than commonapp⦠there I had problems only with essays, but in profile, so many unfamiliar thingsā¦((
in fact that is the thing because of what most of us are applying for NYUAD. the Financial aid. so its worthwhile))

@NewYorkUAD - well last time, they had 2 options: the CSS/PROFILE and the ISFAA (its kinda like a shortened paper version of a CSS/PROFILE)⦠I didnāt knew much as well so I filled out the ISFAA last time, this time I had to fill out the CSS/PROFILE, and honestly, it was actually less complicated than ISFAA.
Basically fin-aid apps ask you for income and expenditure, now although income aināt a prob, but in our cases, monitoring the expenditures is a kind of problem since we donāt tend to keep our expenditure bills/lists etc. so yh, but again its worthwhile.
Although I know that Jan. 15 is the PROFILE deadline for NYUAD, I had to sent early since one of my choices asked PROFILE earlier, and for PROFILE, I think it goes automatically all at once to all your choices.
You can ask me or the NYUAD financial support staff if youāre having probs filling out the PROFILE :)

i submitted my commonapp ED II to NYU AD on Dec 21st. The page says it has been downloaded but I did not hear from NYU AD about receiving my application yet, whereas other universities already acknowledged and some sent me a log in to their websites. should i be worry? or does NYU not send acknowledgement out?

also⦠does anyone know when the invitations for ED II CW will be sent if we get selected?

notifications for CWā¦for the ED-2 applicants would be sent out in mid-Janā¦

Or even mid-Feb, if it was for the 2nd CW

@cst11 ā I submitted my app around Dec. 19 and got my notification around Dec. 21, well you submitted ur app around that date, and after Dec. 22, colleges had their winter break, so thatās why ur app wasnāt acknowledged, donāt worry, you should receive an acknowledgment soon
and yh as far as I believe, ED-II applicants will have the first CW of February and not the second one, since decisions for ED-II would be coming out by that time, expect a invite in mid-January.
