NYU Acceptance - Is it Binding?

<p>My girlfriend got into NYU, and she accepted her offer and made a 1500 dollar deposit. However, she now does not want to go and cannot figure out if a) the deposit is refundable and b) if her acceptance is binding. </p>

<p>Please help. Can she unaccept her offer?</p>

<p>No one is going to bind and gag her and drag her to NYU. Of course she can change her mind. She should contact the school–or at least read over her offer letter–to determine whether the deposit is refundable.</p>
