NYU acceptance letter?

Hello,

I am currently waiting for my admittance letter from NYU.

Few people at my school have received their acceptance letter already last week and I don't know anyone who got rejected yet.

However, I am still waiting for my letter.

When I first applied to NYU, I thought I had a good chance of getting in ( I applied to CAS) but I am losing my confidence at this point. :(

Do you guys know if NYU sends out acceptance letters earlier than the "rejected letters"??

I REALLY REALLY want to go to NYU, but I think I will end up going to UCSD if I get rejected... :(

to make it short....
Anyone still waiting for their letter from NYU?
and do you guys know if they are sending out "reject letters" right now along with the acceptance letter?

Anyone can correct me if I am wrong, but I got the impression that they are currently sending out the invitations. The invitations essentially guarantee one’s acceptance, but they do not contain the full acceptance package. I have yet to hear of anyone who has been rejected. They will be sending out more invitations this week either by snail mail or email as a last resort. Everyone should receive their acceptance or rejectiong by April 1st. Not everyone who has ben accepted will receive an invitation, so don’t let that get you down. They send them out to a select group; how select, though, I am not sure. Good luck! UCSD is a great school, and I hope you get into NYU!

April 1st is when you should recieve your letter.
