<p>These figures are from last year. The acceptance rate was about 26% (this is for traditional undergrad bacclaurate programs which I imagine most on this website are inquiring about, the 32% figure includes SCPS, and non credit stuff, which pretty much anyone can take).</p>

<p>NYU usually does not publish acceptance rates by school. </p>
<p>CAS is the biggest undergrad school at NYU, it makes up about 40% of the student body, and generally gets more than half of all apps to NYU. </p>
<p>This link is from 3 years ago, when the new FAS Dean was inaguarated. Its old, but it will still give you a general idea. This is when NYU had about 31K apps, about 18K were to CAS for a 28% acceptance rate (I believe the total NYU acceptance rate was about the same or slightly higher that year).</p>
