NYU acceptees* Financial Aid Package Discussion

<p>Hello and congrats!! I am so freakin excited!!! I'm so proud of all of us!!! =]</p>

<p>So, what was your financial aid package like? I know NYU is notorious for bad fin-aid so I was just curious what everyone got? Let's be specific here.</p>

<p>I got:</p>

<p>CAS scholarship $13,000
J. Eckhouse Scholarship (anyone know what this is?) $1000
Estimated Pell Grant- $3,900
Work Study $4,000
Expected Perkins $2,400
Suggest stafford $2625</p>

<p>Total: $26, 925</p>

estimated new york TAP 1400 (what is this???)
academic year earning $4000
perkins loan 2400
suggested stafford loan - 2625
renewable outside 500 ( new york state regents)
total : 30925</p>

<p>why do they consider loans financial aid, i can get a loan anywhere</p>

<p>oh well. It doenst matter because no matter how in debt I am, once I'm rich (which I know I will be) it'll seem like pennies to me! =]</p>
