NYU Admission?

When I first applied to NYU for regular decision, I had a pretty confident feeling that I was going to get accepted

but now it seems as if everyone has received some kind of invitation or admission letters from them, but I haven't received anything from NYU

Does this mean I'm rejected?

no i dont think it means you rejected. I didnt receive any thing as of yet but they said they are mailing out everything by April 1

your* sorry about that

you're* sorry about that...again

Schools are weird sometimes. Some of my friends got their acceptances from USC in the beginning of March, and I thought that meant something bad for me because I hadn't heard anything. My letter/package thing came last week (waaaay later than everyone else's) but it was an acceptance. Don't freak. I know I did, but it doesn't mean much either way.

welll... even i hvnt got ne reply as yet.. waiting.. :-|

g2argi, you're from India like me.
I bet you've checked your email and seen the email they sent at midnight!!!

Did you get in?
I did.

The letters might be sent out in regards to the students they really really want and the rest get it on the regular reply date. I am not 100% sure though.

i didn't get one either
they said they sent the last batch of invites on monday..

Well I think a lot of the invites are sent out to students who might have troubles getting to NYU for those visits, so it depends on where you live. I live in Malaysia, so I got one, but if you live in say, CT or something, you might not since you're close enough to visit with shorter notice.

Naw, that isn't it. I live in NJ and plenty of people got NYU acceptances already.

What e-mail? I got accepted, but got no e-mail.

Most people I know who got in heard back already. I have no idea if they're just sending out rejects at this point or doing both reject/admits. You'll know soon. Chill.

I got an email because I live in India.

They are probably sending them gradually, don't worry. :)
