nyu admissions decisions?

has anyone who applied to nyu regular decision received their admissions decisions??

a lot of schools have started giving decisions..

One of my friends did. I think she’s an early write though (one of this people guaranteed to get in). Usually NYU starts sending decisions in March.

Kids getting admitted right now are LSPd (liberal studies program). Usually they applied to CAS and didn’t “quite” get a direct admit into CAS, but they are offered a general spot at NYU, perform basic studies and will be admitted to CAS later. Some or all can choose between the NYC campus, or France, UK, Italy campuses. There is much talk about it - go to the NYU thread. Next up will be those that are invited to the honors programs, they seem to start getting letter invitations March 9-16 ish for an early on campus date around April 1-3 ish. Then regular decision admit/deny is April 1…like all the rest.

ugh, april seems SO far away -_-

NYU offers LSP admission to around 8-10% of the admissions pools (roughly 3,000 applicants) - I doubt they are anywhere near done sending all those LSP offers out. I think they’ll continue through March, if not April.

what honor programs are there? did you have to apply to those specifically or is everyone considered?

How competitive is it to get into NYU Honors? The valedectorian of my school got her decision, i’m sure she could have qualified for regular CAS. .
