NYU advice: Will I get accepted? Do they consider mental health?

Exactly this. And…SPS acceptance rate is high, higher than 50%. It is not the traditional college experience. Most top schools have these SPS divisions, many formerly known as School of Continuing Education, or something like that. These tend to be profit centers and most classes are in the evening hours, to accommodate full-time workers.

OP needs to do more research. I’m not saying the sports management program is a bad one, just not what OP is probably thinking. BS in Sport Management | NYU SPS

For traditional sports management majors look at Syracuse, U Miami, U Michigan, Clemson, U Florida, and more. I will also say that many people working in sports management careers did not major in sports management, so I counsel OP to research that as well.

Which other universities would you recommend?

What does this exactly mean? I am a bit confused, so do you think I should do my bachelor in management and then do my master in sports managment? Or is it just as good to dive directly into sports management?

My only point was that you should research what majors can lead to the type of sports management career that you want.

A sports management major is so specific and is generally not a requirement to get a sports management job (at least in the US). Many sports management type jobs are open to those with virtually any major…sports management, other business majors, quant majors, even English majors.

What type of job do you want, and where do you want to work? Those are important factors in your decision making process too. After graduating from a US college, an international student can only stay here for a short time to work. In my post #21, I mentioned some schools that have good sports management programs, but there are more and NYU SPS is not on the list.

Did U go to Le Rosey? Regardless, I’m sure you will get in
