NYU and columbia

<p>I just got back my sats for the first time and i recieved
780 CR
740 Math
660 writing</p>

<p>I noticed NYU (stern) says they "don't value writing" too much, but i feel like i should take again and get it up to 700. Is it worth it or i should i stick with 1520 with a 660 in writing</p>

<p>and for columbia should i take again bc its simply too low? if i took again i would score prob 770-800 math, but my cr score would go down. wat u guys think??</p>

<p>It can’t hurt to try them again, and the 660 might get you in trouble with Columbia. There’s obviously a lot more to consider, but just looking at your scores it seems like you can do better on writing and there’s no harm in trying.</p>
