NYU and michigan

hey all

i just got into stern yesterday, and i'm about 90% sure i'm going to go there. anyways, i was looking into their AP credit policy, and i come up blank. the link from collegeboard to nyu's AP site is busted.

so, does anybody have the link to NYU's (stern's if it's different than liberal arts) AP Policy? thx. i wanna see which of my 14 ap exams count

also, i'm still waiting to hear back from michigan, should i not go to stern. i've heard that they post decisions online on their "wolverince access" (which i have an account with), but there hasn't been much to indicate that that is true.

does anybody know how michigan posts decisions? if it is online, please explain how to view them and when they're posted. thx

My D and her cousin both received emails from Michigan saying they were accepted. Packet followed.

I just did a quick search, and found this:

<a href="http://w4.stern.nyu.edu/emplibrary/APstanding-Fall2006v9.20.06pdf.pdf%5B/url%5D">http://w4.stern.nyu.edu/emplibrary/APstanding-Fall2006v9.20.06pdf.pdf</a></p>

It's slightly old, but should still hold true. can't bring in calc, stats, econ, or english comp. can bring in any science to fulfill science requirement. everything else is an elective credit.

check out the nyu and michigan forums to get a better feel for nyu stern and michigan.

OP, did nyu notify you via email?

oh and generally, no one brings in any credit except for the science requirement.

^ You don't want to because Stern allots you 38 elective credits, and if you use them up too fast you can't study abroad (since you have to take mostly electives) or take interesting non-stern classes.

Edit: Also, most people just save them and if they have a job offer at the end of junior summer or senior fall, then they just unload them and graduate early. Otherwise, it's highly not suggested.

Michigan sent the decision out after 8-10 weeks when they last received your stuff. I don't think you can check it online.
