NYU and NYU Poly merge?

<p>I heard polytechnic institute of nyu is going to become nyu college of engineering (something like that) from fall 2014. is this true? And if i apply to nyu poly, will i be admitted (if im admitted) to their brooklyn campus or their nyc campus?</p>

<p>NYU Poly is in Brooklyn. The other NYU buildings is at the washington square park in manhattan. NYU is also opening their NYU CUSP building across from Poly in the Fall as well. Yes so The merger is really happening this January of 2014. If you apply and get admitted to NYU Poly, you will be taking most of your classes at the Poly building. You can take classes at the other NYU buildings at a later time.</p>
