NYU (and other Common App) application status

I sent everything for NYU mid-December through the Common App, and I know NYU doesn't really send any confirmation e-mail. I submitted my payment then too, but it's not labeled as "Downloaded" for the payment, but it says that all the other schools I applied with Common App was downloaded. Is everyone on the same boat in terms of NYU "downloading" the payment, or should I be concerned that they haven't really "received" it? (The application and supplement are marked "Downloaded", but the payment still just says "Submitted".)

Also, this goes for all Common App schools, but how DO you check if the schools received all your stuff? Do you have to call them up or e-mail them individually?

Oh, one final thing. NYU never gave any ID/confirmation numbers yet out, right? To post on the online bulletin board, I heard people talking about using some kind of number. What number are they talking about?

Thanks in advance! :)

It still says “submitted” on mine too. Schools will usually notify you if they’re missing any material.

Yeah NYU hasn’t said that my payment was downloaded yet either even though my common app and supplement was downloaded.

Much appreciated for the responses. Definitely put me at ease, hahaha.

Anyone receive any identification/confirmation numbers for NYU? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/new-york-university/843582-has-anyone-received-email-saying-your-app-received.html</a> Someone said to post an inquiry to the NYU message board with an “N number”. Anyone know what that is?

I submitted my application on Dec. 24 and received this email on Jan. 6 at 6AM

When did you apply yshin0?

The payment still hasn’t downloaded, but it’s been charged to my parents’ bank account. I wouldn’t worry about it.
