NYU and Subject Tests

Does anyone know of any schools that require SAT Subject Tests when using the ACT? I've found that most schools want the subject tests only if the student is using the SAT. If the student uses the ACT, they waive the subject test requirement.

I am looking at NYU and can't find any information to suggest either way. I want to use my ACT (my subject tests scores aren't that great) but I can't find it. Anyone?

NYU requires 2 subject tests unless you are applying to a program that requires an audition or artistic portfolio...

kyleloevspi have you ever checked collegeboard.com because they list all the general requirements for admission.

Even if you took the ACT you still have to take 2 SAT II

That's what I thought, it just seemed peculiar.

I've never understood why the act waives the subject tests... I mean a 36 in the math doesn't imply an 800 math 1or2 .. A 36 science doesn't imply an 800 chem or physics... I always found it weird

Two different tests from two different organizations, it doesn't matter if the ACT wanted to waive the subject tests it has no affliation with collegeboard and the SAT.
