<p>I'm sort of a newb at this, but I am applying to NYU and I am completely confused with the online application process. You can apply two ways, through Embark and the common App. However, the common app requires a supplemental personal statement, with different prompts, while the Embark application only has one essay prompt. Help please?</p>
<p>Make a decision and complete the app you choose. It’s not rocket science. They try and make these things so even a high school senior can fill them out.</p>
<p>If you’re not applying to any other schools with the Common App, I would just use the Embark app if I were you.</p>
