NYU Application Trouble!

NYU had never sent me a confirmed email about my app, only common app has.

I realized that I had not sent an official test report of my SAT scores to NYU, simpily because I wasn't aware that I had to for every individual school which I applied to. thankfully the other privates needed to before I could submit my application, but NYU never had specified so I didn't think too much of it.

I have yet to recieve any email from NYU, and for that school I can't even check my application status.. so what should I do now? I thought that just by sending my scores via Common App to NYU would be sufficient, but now im not sure. NYU hadn't asked me for official test scores, so after I submitted my common app, I thought I was done. where should I go from here? HELP!!

Sorry to say, but you should had paid more attention to the details. Collegeboard SAT’s website explicity tells the student not to forget sending his/her official scores; they even allow you to send your test grades to 4 recipients for free.

Unfortunately, there’s not much we can do for you here. A possible (but not guaranteed) way to circumvent this situation would be calling the school [NYU] ASAP and ask whether you could still send the scores. If you are fortunate enough, they might accept to receive the grades.

I’m so sorry this happened to you. What’s your academic background? Are you an international or domestic applicant?

Unfortunately… I just missed that crucial part of sending my scores to EVERY college which I applied to. I’m a high school senior in California. but fortunately I had sent my scores to the other colleges I had applied to. I’ll call NYU ASAP tmrw. Thanks for the help
