Hey, I applied to NYU LSP several months ago. Now I have changed my mind and wish to be considered for CAS. My application is already in though, so is this possible in any way? Decisions come back in several weeks. If it means anything, my SAT scores, AP credits etc. are well above NYU standards.

Yes, you certainly can.

I would contact the admissions office, explain your reason for switching and see what they say.

Worse case, you take your acceptance to LSP (assumption), and then switch shortly thereafter.

Shouldn’t be an issue

to OP: have you contacted the school? i believe that I’ve done the same thing :/

also, do you mind messaging me your stats? I’m not sure what qualifies as above average for NYU and honestly, am a bit worried
that I’m below average. here are mine:

2150, 750,750,710 on my 3 SAT ii’s, and my AP scores are 5,4,4, and 3.

thanks so much! aghh I’m so stressed…
