I just ended my junior year and I already know what colleges I want to apply to. I'm applying to a lot of top schools but I still want to go to a good college if I don't get accepted into any of them. I was just wondering if NYU would be a safety for someone with my stats.

And that's about it!

dude a valedictorian should not be on this forum. Doesn’t matter what school in NYU that you apply to. You’re a lock. 100%

I’m not graduating yet. I still have one more year for someone to bypass me haha

You’re so in…

I don’t know you got a 4 on AP Calc that might be a deal breaker… Hahaha yeah that was a joke, you’re in.

It looks like you will not only get into NYU but will probably be accepted for the Presidential Scholarship at NYU (top 5% of accepted students). You may also get some merit money. Are you Hispanic? Because that means that there will be a couple of scholarships that you might qualify for (though one of them may be based on both merit and NEED). Unless you mess up big time on your essay (doubt it since you appear to be strong in writing) or you are screwed by recommenders (again, doubt it given the esteem you should have in your school and among your teachers).

I AM HISPANIC!! Haha and I’m pretty confident that my essay will be good (writing is my specialty) but I’m not too cocky. I’m glad because I love NYU but my family would NEVER be able to afford it so I’m glad there’s some hope.

You’re hispanic too?! You’re pretty much in at anywhere.
