<p>I'm a comp sci major and I need to purchase a REALLY GOOD laptop. Anyone with an NYU bookstore bought laptop willing to give a review?</p>
<p>We got D one of the mac laptops with the bigger screens. The payment plan enabled us to get the nicer computer. It has been great and when she had a problem they were very helpful. Two thumbs up!</p>
<p>Agree with writestuff54. Bought daughter her first Mac when she was a freshman, using the deferment plan, we were able to spread payments over 4 semesters, interest free. This included any other computer related products . We were able to take advantage of getting a free printer, and a free iPod touch. We we did it again when she became a junior, getting her a bigger and more upgraded Mac, I got an iPad and we got another free iPod touch. Well worth it.</p>

You were able to get this deal at NYU? I know usually apple offers the deal of the laptop with an ipod for students in the summer.</p>

<p>The iPad was put on the deferment plan as we’ll as my D computer. You are allowed to put-up to 3000.00 worth of computers, peripherals and accessories on the deferment plan.</p>
<p>I mean the free ipod touch that came with the computer. I usually see those deals during the back to school season at apple. Good that the NYU stores offer that too.</p>
