Nyu, bu, bc

For those who applied for autumn 2009, did you guys receive admission offer through EMAIL or MAIL? If so, when? Or are you guys placed on waiting list?

I am just wondering because I haven't received mine as of now and want to know if others heard from them already.

I appreciate any feedbacks. Thanx.

I haven’t heard from NYU, but others have. From what I hear they have just recieved a letter telling them to join an event that used to be called Saturday on the Square but I think the name has changed (its an event to welcome accepted students or whatever). I’m not sure if anyone has recieved an offical letter yet but I could be wrong. Anyways I belive most have recieved it through mail but others through email. But I’m not sure how the mail thing works. I think email is mainly for those who don’t live in the U.S.

I only applied to NYU not BU or BC. btw

I don’t know about BU or BC, but for NYU, I got an invitation saying that I was admitted on March 16th by mail. NYU is still sending more letters out this week and the next so you might be hearing something soon :)

yeah, the two above me have it right. NYU sends “likely letters” through the mail, not the e-mail.

I applied to BU and BC and haven’t heard anything yet.

I have applied for neuroscience so if you have applied for other departments it would be different.

about NYU:

I asked one of the faculty members about my application and he answered me if you didn’t have an interview yet it is likely that you became rejected. (I emailed him 24 Feb.)
I asked the admission office and they told me: All decision letters will be mailed in March.

about BU:
2 of my friends became interviewed about one month ago but they didn’t receive any acceptance yet. my friend told me BU will wait until 15 Apr. and after that they will send admission letters but I am not sure about it.

for me, it is likely that I have became rejected from both because I didn’t receive any email regarding interview.

I should tell you I am an international student. for domestic students it would be different.
