NYU Calculus Placement ?!?!?!

<p>alright i'm confused. I have a 5 on the calc AB. I'm planning on taking the calc BC next week but I don't plan on doing well based on the fact that I have yet to start the online course for it.</p>

<p>On this website: Department</a> of Mathematics, Courant Institute :it says that I will be placed into calc II. </p>

<p>On this website: NYU</a> CAS Freshman Orientation :it says that I need a 4 on calc bc to be placed in calc II.</p>

<p>Does anyone know which is right?</p>

<p>I believe you need either a 4 or 5. None of my advisers say a score of 3 will get you into anything.</p>

<p>Sounds about right. I had 5’s on Calc AB and BC, and I started off with Calc II.</p>
