<p>I think its a match. The GPA/class rank is a bit low but SAT scores are great! EC's are good too. Have you won any awards for music or your research because that could help you stand out? Did a faculty member work on the research with you? If so, make sure they write your letter of rec--if you already sent everything then send a rec from the prof anyways...they'll probably just add it to your file and then read it! good luck!</p>
<p>you have a great chance..your sats are up to par..but the gpa is a little lower than what they require, but if it is a competitive school hopefully the adcom will know..regardless i think you are a very strong candidate</p>
<p>Thanks... I am the concert master for my band (first chair Clarinet), and I participated in a local science fair but didn't win much of anything other than a nice pen and a generic cirtificate all participants win, heh.</p>
