I'm going to register for classes at orientation, but I'm really confused about which classes I have to take as a freshman. I'm planning on majoring in Biology and doing Pre-health, and I'm in the Presidential Honors Scholars Program. So I know that I already have to take the Scholars Seminars, and a Freshman Honors Seminar or Collegiate Seminar. What other classes do I have to take?

Like you, I am also going Pre-Health and am in the Presidential Honors Scholars Program. I am probably going to take Principles of Biology, General Chemistry, Writing the Essay, Calculus, and Freshman Honors Seminar. It’s probably overkill, but there isn’t much choice. However, that would make it 22 credits, which is forbidden without permission, and even then you would have to pay more. So, I might skip Biology for a year. Don’t forget that you have to squeeze in your MAP requirements, usually into the first two years.
