NYU CAS Economics vs. USC Marshall's School of Business

So I'm currently a rising Freshman and I'm thinking of applying to transfer to USC Marshall. I'm currently in Liberal Studies Program at NYU and I don't feel that it is worth the 60k pricetag that I pay. Since I have no financial aid, I would rather pay 60k to go to a better school than LSP at NYU.I heard the Stern Transfer rate here is extremely low so I'm trying to transfer to a better university.

I was wondering what decisions can I make from here? Should I try to stay and auto-transfer to CAS or try and transfer to Marshall?

Is Marshall better than NYU CAS Econ?

What is your priority for wanting to transfer into a business program? Are you specifically seeking to major in a business concentration?

I’m looking to do business since its more practical than just studying economics

What kind of career path are you thinking about? And is there a preference to where you want to live after college and build a career?

USC’s name carries well in California and NYU’s name carries well in the Northeast. Overall ranking would go like this, Stern>Marshall>NYU CAS

Have you considered applying to state flagships with business programs? For example, Michigan, UVA, and UC Berkeley all have highly regarded UG business schools which will be cheaper (even for an OOS student) than USC/NYU. If you’re doing well at NYU you should also consider schools a “tier up” that have business majors (e.g. Wharton, Cornell)

i’m looking to move back to California eventually but I’m currently just basing the pick on job recruitment.

USC is better.

USC Marshall is a target for a lot of financial firms but NYU has location. Tough choice
