I have a few days to decide between NYU CAS or BC CAS Economics, but won't have the chance to visit them (im from HK).
So just want to ask people's opinions on the two.

I love NYC, but also want a campus, with a true school community. So wanta ask how's the school spirit in NYU?

Also, wt are the job opportunities for the two? Will there be more internship chances? and is it easier to look for job in NYC?

thanks!

NYU has no campus and there isn’t too much school spirit. NYU’s campus is basically NYC so you have more opportunities to look for jobs directly. BC has a campus and has a college community. Boston is a real college town if you compare the two. Its hard to determine what opportunities are available because it depends on the person but typically NYU has better access to opportunities because of their location.

I am an econ major at NYU (CAS) and our econ department was ranked 10th best in the world. NYC is a great place to study econ, but if you don’t like the fundamentals of the NYU experience (no sports, no campus, no hand holding), then go to Boston College.
