I'm stuck choosing between NYU CAS and GWUBS. If I go to NYU I'll be doing Economics but in the business school in GWU I'll probably end up doing something more business related. But that doesn't matter to me, which one is better? (I want to go into finance or financial analysis, hope this helps) Any help is hugely appreciated. Thanks

I just got into GW for international affairs and no other university compares. For business on the other hand, most people I know that want to do business would go to NYU over GWU. That’s from what I have observed. Would you go to Stern for undergrad at NYU? If so, do it.

If I were you - I would go to GWU School of Business simply because you will be going into the business school. I would recommend going to Stern at NYU if you got in but being stuck in CAS and doing economics would not be nearly as practical as going to GW and majoring in Accountancy or Business management.

Now that only accounts for one part, I think what you should really make your decision on is your city. That is going to be the biggest overall difference between the school. Do you want to be in Washington with the politics or NY with wall street?

Ultimately I am glad my FA from NYU was horrible because it made this choice for me a whole lot easier…

P.S. I am biased towards GW, it is my first choice school.

That’s a tough one, yea. But congrats on getting into both Would it be easier to decide if you took other factors into account, such as financial aid, student body and location? I would say if both schools are equal in every outside factor, take Stern if that is your NYU school. Good luck with everything.
