Hello, I am sorta in a pickle here

I have 1870 SAT (superscore 1900), 91-92 average, and a REALLY killer college essay.

I want to get into any NYU college, just as long as I can get into one and stay in the city.

I am stuck between applying to LSP or CAS

I heard from my friends that CAS is REALLY hard to get into especially with my scores, but if you get rejected from CAS, they still re-evaluate you for LSP. Is this true?

If this is the case, should I just apply to CAS for the heck of it? Or does my chances of getting into LSP increase if I apply to LSP from the start?

So basically, what I am asking is: does the chances of getting into LSP increase for me if i apply there first? or is the chances of me getting into LSP still the same even if I put CAS first and get rejected from there?
