I recently was accepted off the waitlist at NYU and am currently trying to decide between these two options and am not sure which is preferrable. Can anyone give their input?

Considerations:
-Economics major looking to go into business
-Currently living in California but would probably enjoy East Coast
-Money is somewhat of an issue: I have a half-tuition scholarship (~17k a year) at USC, while my parents would have to cover the full cost of NYU. While they are willing to pay, I'm uncertain whether NYU is worth the extra money
-Accepted Thematic Option Honors Program at USC, which would help my writing a lot
-I THINK I would be happier at NYU but I cannot say for certain

If money is an issue then definitely USC. Cost of living in NYC is high, plus the plane fare for winter and possibly spring break. Especially with that partial scholarship.

I'm not sure... I do, but I live close to the city. I imagine most people in the northeast do the same, but probably not farther than that. If your family can easily afford it though, why not.

why are you doing business at NYU while you enrolled in writing at USC

both schools are great
depends where and what you want to work as

for business both are good schools but NYC is better than LA for business
but i don't see the point of paying 17k more expecially when you got a equally great option for 17k less
