Hey guys I am a junior making a list of potential colleges and have a quick question. I want to go into I-banking or some kind of wallstreet entity and for the sake of arguement lets say I have the choice between Fordham and NYU CAS Econ. Is one significantly better then the other purely in terms of recruiting for wallstreet or finance in general? (Please ignore all other factors such as social life, location etc. as there are plenty of forums for that.)

Thanks a lot

Fordham’s business school is very good, especially in the greater NYC area, but NYU Econ is extremely well-regarded worldwide. If you’re big into finance/Wall Street and don’t want to apply to NYU Stern, Fordham would probably be the right option. In all other cases, CAS Econ would probably be better. NYU is more prestigious as well, if that matters to you.

Good luck.

NYU CAS all the way. Competition in NYC during the summers for internships is crazy, and during the school year you will most likely be competing with students from Columbia, NYU, and other schools near NYC. Living in NYC for some of my life I would know NYU is taken very seriously.

To be frank, it’s NYU hands down!!! Fordham is not even in the same league.
