Ok, I am just wondering how much more difficuilt it is to get into Stern over the regular College of Arts and Sciences. As for now, NYU is on the easy end of my match schools, would applying to Stern make it much harder? Would it become a reach? Also, does anyone have admissions statistics for Stern alone? And lastly, if I have an extra essay, talking about what has sparked my interest in business (a very good essay I think) would there be anyway I could include that with my app if I decide to go for Stern?

Jobs:
This past summer I worked at a major financial institution in New York City... my recommendation from my boss is gleaming (as he really did like me). He even told them that he offered me a full time job once I graduate from college.

Thee summers ago, I was a Stock Analyst for a small internet start up company.

I am 50% Iranian and am a Muslim (if that helps) and I am a citizen of Iran, along with the US.

I got a 5 on the AP US SAT

Stern SAT average is 1412 according to their website. But those people are the worst liars of any college. Its probably around 1450. NYU sucks. From the financial aid, to the admissions decisions, to the campus.

Agreed... CAS sucks anyways I wouldn't go there as its a 15,000 campus of a bunch of losers grouped together that all want to transfer to stern.

yeah Stern is a reach but personally I'm not a fan of NYU either besides their Stern's School of Business. Just apply to Stern and see what happens
