<p>I am applying to NYU (Arts and Science). I applied to a few colleges, but the one i really want to go to is NYU, but I know from my credentials that it may be a bit hard. Here are my stats, please give any feedback that you can give.</p>

GPA: Unweighted (Our school doesn't weight): 3.54
SAT: 1290 (690 M/ 600 V)
SAT2: N/A</p>

<p>Clubs:
Senate (Student Council - Treasurer
Interact - Member
Chess- Member
Erase (Anti violence) - Member
NHS - Member</p>

<p>My college essay is good to very good. Out of 1-10, 8.5</p>

<p>Community:
Interact (Community Service Program)</p>

<p>Your SATs and GPA are fairly low for NYU, and you don't have a lot of extracurriculars. I would consider NYU a reach for you.</p>

<p>Indian as in origins from India or Native American?? If you're Native American, you have a great chance.</p>

<p>i'm in tristate area, hoping that'll help a bit, competitve high school, last year they accepted 14 kids from our school to NYU, some with lower SATS some with higher</p>

<p>NYU is probably a reach for you....the fact that you're Indian, and from the tri-state area doesn't help at all either. But you never know, you've still got decent stats, a great essay and recs. might just get you in. I would strongly advise you to apply early to increase your chances. </p>

<p>well its too late to apply early. ONly thing i can do really is boost up SATS. How many points should i Aim to increase it by?</p>
