Hi there, I was wondering if my chances are pretty solid?
I’m a white male from Florida with a 34 ACT and 4.0 GPA. I’ve taken 15 AP classes, National AP Scholar. I have good extracurriculars etc.
Also, NYU only offers merit scholarships to students who submit the FAFSA and College Board CSS/Financial Aid profile? I completed the FAFSA but then took one look at the College Board profile and it was very lengthy and complex. Will NYU not consider offering me a merit scholarship if I do not complete that?
I would do it just to be safe. I know I did it and plenty of other people do too.
Your ACT and GPA are strong and you have quality extracurriculars. As long as your essays/personal statements stood out, I don’t think you’ll have a problem. Good luck!
