I am going to be a senior and college time is coming and I am so stressed! Michigan and NYU and my top choices of the 9 schools I am applying to. Here is a rundown of some of my stats, I just want an opinion on how my chances of getting in look and what if anything I can improve.

NYU has been my dream school since I was 10 years old and I love that it is only an hour from my home, so I can live in NYC and still be relatively close to home. My biggest concern is the price, which has made me begin to look into other schools because it is not likely for me to qualify for any financial aid.

GPA: 95.04% unweighted (my school does the whole 4.0 scale thing differently)
97.06 weighted
SAT: 1920 ---> contemplating taking it for my 3rd and final time (really don't want to retake...I went up over 200 points from my first one!)
ACT: 29 / writing score: 10---> retaking in fall!
APs: English Language and AP Physics B: 3 on both (not submitting)
U.S.: 5 (submitting)
Taking in my senior year: AP Calc BC, AP Enviro Science, AP Stats, AP Literature, AP Eco/AP Gov
Extracurriculars:
1) President of Mock Trial Team
-Went to NYS Bar Association camp that accepted 40 kids from around NYS.
- Won the title for my county my sophomore year.
- Taken home many other titles and trophies for my school.
2) Student Government Class President
3) Cultural Arts Program Volunteer
4) Founder of the UNICEF chapter for my town's high school.
5) Key Club Senior Representative
6) Frequent volunteer at a soup kitchen
7) Former JV softball player (left because it conflicted with mock trial)
8) Varsity Swimmer
9) Lifeguard
10) Intern at a District attorney's office
11) I met an NYU admissions counselor at my high school and I have emailed him about my interests and my visit and he did say on my application my demonstrated interest will be noted. Additionally, he is the admissions counselor for my region.
